Hurricane Michael 2018

Hurricane Michael was one of the strongest storms to hit the Florida Panhandle to ever be recorded.

With sustained winds reaching up to 155mph while making landfall leading it to be the first ever Category 4 Hurricane to reach the Panhandle; while breaking national records for the fourth strongest storm to reach the United States. After emergency crews cleared roadways the SERVPRO of Brunswick headed for Mexico Beach, Florida.

We were truly heartbroken after seeing the destruction that Hurricane Michael brought onto these cities; people without homes, food, and without power. We witnessed the grace of our Nation and the unity we all share when we face disaster. Tents were set up to pass out food, shelters were set up to cover those who lost their homes, and people came all across the United States to lend a helping hand. The SERVPRO of Brunswick quickly sprang into action by setting up drying equipment, tarping roofs, and boarding up windows to prevent further damage.
