Hurricane Florence - Impact for Georgia’s Coast

Hurricane Florence is expected to become a major - Category 3 or stronger hurricane on the East Coast late Thursday, according to The Weather Channel. Even though models of Hurricane Florence are showing Florence making landfall north of Georgia’s coast we are still urged to be on alert due to uncertainty of the storms path.
Hurricane season is at its official peak as of Monday 9/10- there are currently 3 named storms in the Atlantic - Florence, Issac and Helene.
Be alert, be aware, and be prepared.
