But what about your washing machine connections? That’s a place where there can be hard water deposits that can corrode pipes and hoses, causing them to explode when you are not looking for it. Make an inspection of your laundry room part of your routine, and pay attention to all the outlets, hoses, and piping, to make sure they are in working order.

Another part of your house or business that can become damaged by water over time is around the base of your toilets. As your bathrooms age, the seals that were installed at the time the house was built or the toilet was put in will break down and corrode, sometimes developing tiny holes that will leak small amounts of water. This little leakage can really hurt your flooring without you even noticing it until it’s too late.
